Tartt Field - West Alabama
General Admission History Located along Lake LU in Livingston, AL, Tartt Field is a great example of a mix of a classic baseball field with sparks of modern technology. With a recent move to turf, an updated scoreboard, and a new lighting package, Tartt has gone through an upgrade while not fully shifting, as the seating behind home plate is still old-school bleacher style. Atmosphere With West Alabama sitting undefeated during my visit, the fans were locked in on the game. B


Bob Riesener Stadium - Montevallo
General Admission History Opening with the establishment of the team in 1956, Bob Riesener Stadium is located in what used to be a farm and cotton field. In recent years, the team has added a new locker room facility, a new backstop, and an updated scoreboard. The most recent update was the addition of turf to the bullpen, home plate, and backstop areas in 2023. Seating includes both chairbacks and bleacher seating, though all are included at the same general admission price.


QV Lowe Field - Auburn University - Montgomery
Section 3, Row A, Seat 20 History QV Lowe Field at Auburn University - Montgomery (AUM) opened in 1987 and was dedicated in 2020 to the longtime Warhawks head coach. Featuring brick dugouts, an updated scoreboard, and a small pavilion for fans down the left field lounge, the stadium holds 600 and is a good size park for a D2 university. AUM has made it to the D2 College World Series four times, and has made 20 regional appearances, most recently in 2024. Atmosphere Fans at QV


Mike D. Lane Field - North Alabama
Sec Reserved, Row 3B, Seat 7 History With expansive rework in the 2025 offseason, North Alabama has quickly updated to reflect its relatively recent move to D1. Named after former coach Mike D. Lane, Lane Field was first built in 1984 and saw North Alabama through many seasons of success at the D2 level. Joining D1 in 2018 and the ASUN in 2022, North Alabama has already appeared in one ASUN conference tournament and hopes to continue that growth moving forward. Atmosphere Nes


Stanky Field - University of South Alabama

But another name associated with Mobile and baseball is Eddie Stanky, the long-time head coach of the South Alabama Jaguars. Sims-Galle Field - Spring Hill College
General Admission History Located in Mobile, AL, Sims-Galle Field proudly boasts its title as the oldest active collegiate baseball field in the country. Organized baseball was first played here in 1889 (though it's believed it was first played here in the 1860s), and Spring Hill is the oldest institute of higher learning in the state of Alabama.
